When you are working in the knowledge base, you may create media in your personal space or in the KB related to the group(s) you belong to.
Importing several files at once
If you would like to add several files to the KB, you can compress them into a .zip file and import that file rather than each individual file.
The file will be automatically unzipped when you click on “Import” and all the files will be imported to the knowledge base.
If you have attached one or more tags to the .zip file, they will be applied automatically to all the files contained in it.
A few rules to follow:
- The compressed file must always be in .zip format.
- The total size of the compressed file must not exceed 20 Mb.
- Importing .zip files is only possible when working directly in the knowledge base (the format won’t be accepted if you came to the knowledge base via a document).
N.B. Certain compression tools, such as Winrar, are not supported and cannot be decompressed when importing. To avoid compatibility problems, we recommend using the compressor from your OS or the Winzip or 7-zip compressors.
