Identify the cause of the problem
Not being able to create an account may appear in one of two ways:
- Cannot click on 'Create'
- Error message after clicking on 'Create'
The causes for each possibility and how to correct them are explained below.
Cannot click on 'Create'
The 'Create' button is not clickable as long as the user information is incomplete. Check that all the fields with a red asterisk have been completed.
Error message after creating an account
After you click 'Create', rather than displaying the list of accounts, the page displayed is still the user information page, and one of the following error messages appeared:
This happens when you try to create an account using a name and/or an email that is already being used for another, active or blocked, account.
We recommend that you go back to the list of accounts and check that the Name and/or the email that you would like to use for a new account do not already belong to another account. Remember to tick the 'Display blocked accounts' box in order to show all accounts.
