Duplicating an empty folder
You cannot directly duplicate a folder in XaitProposal. If the folder that you would like to duplicate does not contain any documents, you have two options:
- Create a new folder and fill in every field in the form so that it is identical to the original folder.
- Move the original folder to the desired place.
Duplicating a folder containing document(s).
If the folder that you would like to duplicate contains documents, you will need to proceed as follows to duplicate it:
- Create the new folder where you would like it to be and fill in all required fields.
- Once you have created the folder, click 'Create a document' and copy the first document from the original folder.
- Repeat step 2 for all documents concerned.
NB: When you duplicate a document, the form for the new document is filled in with the same information as the original. This is why in step 1 of the above procedure, we recommend that you fill in only the fields that are necessary to create a folder – you will not need to fill in all the other fields as they will be completed directly in the document form.
