You can now move content up or down one or more levels directly:
- from the editor,
- or from the KB when using the content.
This feature is available for the following levels:
Section → Chapter → Subchapter → Topic
What Changes Automatically
When you change an element’s level, all its child content automatically follows.
Example: if a Chapter becomes a Topic, then its sub-levels are also reorganized.
Note
Titles located below the Topic level are converted into paragraph blocks (displayed in bold).
⚠️ Elements that do not change levels
Certain content always retains its original position:
- Images
- Advanced tables
- PDFs
These elements remain attached to their original location.
📌 Example 1 — Converting a Chapter to a Topic

Result
- The archived elements of the original chapter are deleted.
- The original levels and blocks are archived.
- New blocks are automatically recreated according to the new structure.
📌 Example 2 — Converting a Subchapter into a Section
You convert a Subchapter (and its children) into a Section.
Result
- The new section is added to the end of the original section.
- The original subchapter and topic are archived.
- A new Section and a new Chapter are created automatically.
💡 Good to know
🚫 Some edits may be blocked
If an active task is linked to:
- the relevant level,
- or one of its children,
then the “Edit All” option becomes unavailable.
👉 A 🚫 icon indicates the reason for the block.
💬 Comments and conditions are preserved
The following elements remain attached to the block:
- comments,
- information,
- display conditions.
⚠️ Exception: if multiple elements merge into a single paragraph, some associations may disappear.
Content types remain unchanged
Paragraphs, images, tables, etc.:
