Defining the graphic layout
In XaitProposal, a graphic layout is set up and parametered for exporting documents. The layout is customized using your company’s graphic elements and graphic charter. Your XaitProposal site can include one or more layout models for projects, as decided upon by your team.
Each layout is unique and applies the options selected when defining the page layout with the Xait team.
Graphic layouts that are accessible to users who are 'Content managers' are visible in 'Graphic layout'. Users have access to graphic layouts when they are making documents.
Defining a template
Each graphic layout has several templates that correspond to the page models available, including:
- Letter
- Cover page
- Table of contents
- Text pages
- Pages for PDF attachments Contact page
- Closing page
- and more ...
Text page templates
For pages of text, several templates may have been created, allowing you to choose the form you’d like for your text content.
For example, here are the 3 most common models for text page layout:
Customising in the word processor and viewing the final document as a PDF export
All changes made in the word processor are applied when the document is exported as a PDF. Some are not visible in the word processor, such as:
- Size and position of images
- Styles applied to text
- The choice of template
NB: For every change made to the layout in the word processor, you must click 'Export' again for those to be included and appear in the new PDF generated.
