To manage layouts in XaitProposal, you must have both the Content Manager and Layout Manager roles, and have received training from Xait.
Accessing Layout Management
On the homepage, click the Layouts icon
in the left-hand panel.
The list of available layouts will open.
You can:
Update an existing layout by clicking on its name.
Create a new layout by clicking on "Create a new layout for documents" button at the top right of the page.
Note : If you have the XaitWebProposal product, web layouts are available by clicking the corresponding tab.
Creating a New Layout
Click 'Create a new layout for documents' at the top right of the layout list.
Fill in the required fields:
Layout name (mandatory)
Description (optional)
Groups that can use this layout (mandatory)
Import the layout ZIP file from your local machine.
Click Create to save.
Updating an Existing Layout
Click the name of the layout you want to update. The layout modification page will open.
You can:
Modify the layout's name.
Update its description.
Change the groups that can use this layout.
Download the current version's ZIP file.
View the templates included in the layout.
Upload a new version.
⚠️ Note: The previous version will be permanently overwritten. It's recommended to keep a backup on your local machine.To delete the layout, click the 'Off' button at the top right.
⚠️ Warning: Deletion is permanent.Click Save to apply your changes
