Apply a template from the layout customization menu in Format tab
If you have multiple templates for the cover, you can select which template is applied.
- On the left-hand menu, click on 'Format' tab, the layout customization page opens.
- Beside the notebook, click on the arrow to open the drop-down list.
- Select the template you wish to apply to the cover.
- Click on 'Save' to confirm.
For example here, I have 2 templates available for the cover, with and without an image:
NB: 'Default' corresponds to the template applied by default to all documents made with this graphic layout.
Apply a template from the word processor
- Open the title block of the notebook whose cover you want to change.
- Beside 'Notebook', click on the arrow to show the drop-down list.
- Select the template you wish to apply.

Modify the cover image
If your cover template includes an editable image, you can change the default image.
- On the left-hand menu, click on 'Format' tab, the layout customization page opens.
- Beside the notebook, on the right side of your screen, you can:
- Download an image from your computer.
- Use an image saved in the knowledge base.
- Use an image from your drive.
- Once you have added the image, the icon
in the notebook title indicates that the image is customized. You can view the thumbnail on the right side of the screen.
- Click on 'Save' to confirm.
NB:
- Make sure that you choose an image that fits the space provided on the cover page. Your administrator can tell you the size required.
- It is possible that the image in your cover template cannot be modified. In this case, the choice has been made by your company.
- You can return to the default cover image by clicking on the 'Delete' button.
