Applying a specific template to text pages from the layout customization menu
If you have multiple graphic layout templates, you can choose which template to apply to your texts.
- In the toolbar on the left, click on 'Format' tab.
- Beside the mandatory title level, click on the arrow to open the drop-down list.
- Select the template you wish to apply to this title level.
- Click on 'Save' to confirm.
For example here, I have 7 templates available for this chapter. If I select the two-column template for the chapter 'The offer', the entire chapter will be presented as 2 columns:
NB: 'Default' corresponds to the template applied by default to all documents created with this graphic layout. For the text pages, it is generally the 'Linear' template.

- Open the block of text of the mandatory level you want to modify.
- Beside the title level, click on the arrow to open the drop-down list.
- Select the template you wish to apply.
