This article covers the XaitAssistant feature. Please check with your administrator to ensure that this module is subscribed to and enabled for your account.
XaitProposal includes an artificial intelligence feature designed to assist you in harmonizing and rewriting your texts. It allows you to adjust the style of your writing and modify its structure in a targeted manner.
How to use the "Improve Content" feature
Step 1: Launching the assistant
- In your document, select the part of the text you want to improve (this can be a complete level or a single paragraph).
- Open the XaitAssistant panel on the right side of your screen.
- Click the Improve Content. button
Step 2: Configuring the improvement
The tool offers two options for adjusting the text. You must fill in at least one of these two options to activate the "Improve" button:
- Apply a writing style : Changes the tone of your text without changing its structure. You can choose a Professional, Persuasive, Technical, Direct and concise, or Contractual style. (A help icon provides details about the purpose of each style.)
- Transform and rewrite the content as... : Changes the hierarchy and structure of your selection. This option allows you, for example, to convert a block of text into a "Subchapter" or condense a section into a "Paragraph".
Once you have defined your settings, click the Improve button. The tool then generates a new text proposal.
Step 3: Reviewing and comparing the results
The new content appears directly in your central editor, highlighted by a side border.
Navigation note: A toggle button appears to the left of your text. It allows you to instantly switch between the Suggested Version (by AI) and the Original Version, making comparison easier.
Step 4: Additional adjustments via Chat (optional)
If the generated result requires additional clarification, you do not need to run the entire process again:
- Click the Chat icon displayed in the bottom-right corner of the interface.
- Enter your instruction (for example: "Write this passage in the present tense" or "Shorten this sentence").
Note : You can precisely target the part of the text to modify by clicking its label in the editor, or by typing @ directly in the chat text field.
Step 5: Confirming and saving
Until the content is saved, no changes are final.
- If you decide to change your initial choices (style or structure level) before saving, the system will inform you that the proposal currently being viewed will be replaced.
- When saving, the suggested version becomes the active version. The initial text is automatically kept in the document archives, allowing you to restore it later if necessary.
