- You can also view the number of pages via the icon
in the top right-hand corner of your editor, accessible via the Outline tab, which allows you to 'display the number of pages'. The calculation is performed once you've clicked on the icon (a loader appears for the duration of the calculation), without which the number of pages is hidden by default.

Focus on the page
- You can check:
- The total number of pages in your document.
- The number of pages per part
- If you move parts in your plan, you can then restart the calculation of your pages per part by clicking on the button
.
NB:
The 'Recalculate' button is only active when modifications have been made to the document layout (e.g. moving or duplicating a part), otherwise it remains grayed out and unclickable.
Page count calculation is based on your document export parameters (with or without blank page, with or without divider).
Page count calculation depends on the document export. If the document contains structural errors or has no layout, the page count display will not run. A message will be displayed in the case of an error.
The number of pages in the sub-parts is not the sum of the pages to arrive at the total number of pages per part, but the number of pages per level.
Example: Your chapter display contains 5 pages, subchapter 1 contains 3 pages, subchapter 2 also contains 3 pages. This doesn't make 6 pages, but 5 pages in total, because your second subchapter can start in the middle of the 3rd page of your 1st subchapter.
