Introduction
In your word processor, when you click 'Insert in the left-hand column, you can add several elements to your document or master. All you need to do is:
- Select the level where it is to be inserted (Notebook, Section, Chapter, Subchapter).
- Click 'Insert'.
- Select the element to be added; you may insert an element:
- 'Inside' the level selected.
- 'After' the level selected.
For example, here we are situated at the level of a notebook title, we can choose whether to insert something in this notebook or after it.
Inserting a new notebook
- To insert a notebook, you must be working at the 'Notebook' level.
- Click 'Insert', then select notebook.
- The new notebook is placed directly after the other notebook and appears in the left-hand panel:
- This is a separate PDF document.
- It automatically proposes a complete title structure.
- Delete any XX and customize the blocks.
NB:
- You can delete the title levels you do not need. However, make sure you don’t delete the required title levels to avoid an error message when you export the PDF (See the full article here).
- Some title levels are not part of your graphic layout, and those you can easily delete by clicking on 'Archive this title only'.
