How to publish a microsite online

This article applies to the XaitWebProposal tool. Check with your administrator to make sure that you have a subscription to this product.

1. In the upper-right corner of your microsite, click the green 'Publish online’ button.
2. Enter the following information in the window:
   • Site name, added to the site URL and cannot be modified once the microsite is online
   • Validity date, once the date has passed, the microsite is inaccessible
   • Accessibility status:
     • Private (default): the microsite is visible only to recipients who have the access key
     • Public : anyone with the link can access the microsite
   • Recipient list, internal or external, by entering their email addresses
3. Click 'Publish online’ to activate your microsite.
4. A confirmation window displays:
   • The URL link to your microsite
   • The microsite's validity date
   • Its accessibility status (Private/Public)
   • The people with whom it has been shared
     
      
5. If the microsite is private, the people with whom you shared the microsite receive 2 separate emails:
   • 1 email with the microsite link
   • 1 email with the password to access it
6. The link leads to an authentication page. Enter the password (key), then click 'Access’
7. The microsite is displayed

Note:

• The email containing the password is sent only when the site is first published online.
• If XX remains in the page, subpage, or section titles, it is not possible to publish your microsite online.
