You must be a 'Content manager' to access and modify masters for your group.
Link the content of a master to the questionnaire
Each part of the master can be linked to the questionnaire so that it is displayed depending on the answers chosen by the user.
From the right column:
- In the Word Processor, click on the content that you want to link to an answer.
-
- If you select a title level, all the content attached to this title will be linked to the questionnaire answer.
- If you select a text block, an image, or a PDF attachment, only that content will be linked to the answer.
- On the right column, click on
- In the 'Display Conditions' box, enter the keyword corresponding to the answer you want to link to the content and then click on 'Enter'.
- If you have already created the keywords in the questionnaire, when you begin typing a word you will get a suggestion.
Directly in the word processor :
- In the Word Processor, click on the content that you want to link to an answer.
-
- If you select a title level, all the content attached to this title will be linked to the questionnaire answer.
- If you select a text block, an image, or a PDF attachment, only that content will be linked to the answer.
- In the text block toolbar, click on the icon
- Enter the keyword corresponding to the answer you want to link to the content, and then click on 'Enter'.
- If you have already created the keywords in your questionnaire, when you begin typing a word, you will get a suggestion.
- Close the box to confirm the entry.
NB:
To avoid creating duplicates, do not use capital letters and accents in your conditions.
The keyword that is used in the Word Processor must be exactly identical to the one in the questionnaire.
We recommend you always link to the highest level in the hierarchy. For example, link a chapter to include the whole chapter with an answer.
Apply several display conditions to the same content
- You can set several display conditions for content.
- In this case, you have to save several keywords in the box.
- If you check 'Only one of the conditions is required' it means that the user will only need to check one answer OR the other to make the content appear in the document.
- If you uncheck 'Only one of the conditions is required' it means that the user will have to check one answer AND the other to make the content appear in the document.
For example here, the content linked to these answers will appear:
- If I tick the answer connected to the keyword 'simple proposal'.
- If I tick the answer connected to the keyword 'service a'.
