Several actions can be taken for multiple documents, including:
- Moving multiple documents
- Archiving multiple documents
- Restoring multiple documents
- Permanently deleting multiple documents (for Supervisors and Content Managers)
Moving multiple documents
- Open the folder list by clicking on the 'Files' icon
in the right panel on the homepage.
- In the hierarchy list to the left, click on the folder containing the documents you would like to move.
- Tick the box
at the top of the center screen to select the documents you would like to move.
- Click on ‘Move’
at the top right of the center screen.
- In the ‘Move to’ list, choose the folder where you would like the documents to be.
- Click ‘Move’ in the window that opens to confirm your choice.
Archiving multiple documents
- Open the folder list by clicking on the 'Files' icon
in the right panel on the homepage.
- In the hierarchy list to the left, click on the folder containing the documents you would like to archive.
- Tick the box
at the top of the center screen to select the documents you would like to archive.
- Click on the ‘Archive’ icon
at the top right of your screen.
- Click ‘Archive’ in the window that opens to confirm your choice.
- The list of documents in your folder is displayed again, and your documents appear with hatching.
Restoring archived documents
- Open the folder list by clicking on the 'Files' icon
in the right panel on the homepage.
- In the hierarchy list to the left, click on the folder containing the documents you would like to unarchive.
- Click on the ‘Filter’ icon
at the top left of the center screen.
- Tick the ‘Archived’ status
.
- Click on ‘Filter’ to show all archived documents.
- Tick the box
at the top of the center screen to select the documents you would like to unarchive.
- Click ‘Restore’
at the top right of the screen.
- Confirm your choice in the window that opens by clicking ‘Restore’.
- The documents once again appear in the list of folders.
Permanently deleting archived documents
To delete a document, you must be a Supervisor.
Deleting a document from XaitProposal means that it will no longer be available and will be permanently deleted.
- Archive the documents that you would like to delete.
- Click on the ‘Filter’ icon
and tick ‘Archived’
, then click ‘Filter’ to show archived documents.
- Tick the box
at the top of the center screen to select the documents you would like to permanently delete.
- Click ‘Delete’
at the top right of the screen.
- Confirm your choice in the window that opens by clicking ‘Delete’.
