Advanced Tables in the Word Processor
The Table Plugin allows you to integrate complex tables into XaitProposal. These tables offer more formatting options than standard tables (inserted within text blocks).

Creating an Advanced Table
To create an advanced table, place your cursor below the element after which you want to insert it (paragraph, heading, image, or PDF attachment), and click the 'Add Table' icon.
The Table Plugin opens; first, define the basic structure:
Click on 'OK' to confirm the creation of the table.
Then customize the table via the 'Table Properties' icon:
- Number of columns
- Number of rows
- Cell padding size
- Table alignment
- Display of caption
- Background color
- Outer borders:
- Border width
- Border style
- Border color
- Inner borders:
- Border width
- Border style
- Border color

Pasting a Previously Copied Table
You can copy and paste a table along with its formatting:
- Copy the table (in XaitProposal or in Excel).
- In the Table Plugin, click 'Paste from Clipboard'.
- The table is imported, and its original formatting is preserved.
