How to answer questions in an RFI document?

This article concerns the "XaitRFI" product. Please check with your administrator that you have subscribed to this product.

You can enter the answers to each question in a questionnaire, either manually or from the knowledge base.

Manual answer entry

1. Under the question you wish to answer, open the answer block by clicking on it.
2. Enter your answer manually or copy/paste it from an external source

NB: Your answer must be textual and must not include images, table, or bullets (press Shift+Enter and use dashes for line breaks). 

Inserting the response from the knowledge base

1. Under the question you wish to answer, open the answer block by clicking on it.
2. Click on the   icon to open the knowledge base.
3. All the answers in the knowledge base are displayed. You can find the corresponding answer in the following two ways:
   • • By automatic suggestion, by ticking the 'Suggested answers only' option.
     • By using the search function, by typing keywords into the search bar in the left-hand column.
4. The algorithm will suggest several answers. Click on the button to display details of each suggested answer.

5. You can see the question linked to this answer in the details below.

6. As soon as you are satisfied with an answer, click on 'Use' on the right to insert the answer into your question. You will be able to edit it in the word processor.
