You must be an “Account Manager” to access this function.
Accessing groups
- Open XaitProposal.
- To access groups administration, click on the 'Groups' icon
in the left-hand panel of the home page.
- You can see the structure of groups and subgroups in your organization.
- You can modify the organization.
- Once you’ve made these changes, click on 'Update' at the top left of the page.
Creating a group
- Select the ‘parent’ group (the one at the top of the hierarchy) to open the menu on the left. The group selected is highlighted in purple.
- Click on 'Create a subgroup' to create a group under the larger group selected.
- Enter the name of the group and click 'Confirm'.
Renaming a group
- Select the group whose name you would like to change. The group selected is highlighted in purple.
- Click on 'Update' to open the field that will allow you to make the change.
- Enter the new name of the group and click 'Confirm'.
Deleting a group
- Select the group you would like to delete. The group selected is highlighted in purple.
- Click on 'Delete'.
- Copy the text indicated in the popup window to confirm the permanent deletion.
NB :
- Only a group with no subgroups can be deleted.
- A group that contains files or user accounts cannot be deleted.
- We recommend that you also move active and archived media from the KB before deleting a group.
