On which content types is the “Copy” button available?
The Copy button is available on the following items:
- Images
- Text content and its illustrations
- RFI
- Q&A Doc
- Tables
🚫 Incompatible content
The Copy button is not available on:
- PDFs
- Videos
- Web content
Tip for optimal pasting
To best preserve the content’s appearance, always use the “Paste with formatting” option.
⚠️ Depending on the destination tool, the layout may differ slightly from how it appears in the KB.
Example: image with text wrapping:
- In the KB: the image may be displayed next to the text with wrapping.
- After pasting: the text may appear before or after the image depending on the editor used.
Note: results may vary slightly depending on the version of the tool used (desktop, web, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).
