Categories allow you to organize merge fields by topics. These topics are listed when managing the merge fields.

To create a category
- Click on the 'Merge Fields' icon in the left panel on your homepage.
- The administration page for Merge fields is displayed.
- In the left column, click the "+ New Category" button
.
- Type the desired name for the new category.
- Press Enter to confirm.
- The new merge field category appears in the left column.
Renaming a category
- Access the merge fields administration page.
- Select the category you want to change from the left column.
- To edit the category name, click on the
button to the right of the category title, located in the top center.
- Press Enter to confirm.
