The "Customizable Value" field is exclusive to the questionnaire (MCQ). You can configure its features either from the merge field administration page or directly in the master questionnaire.
This field allows you to manage a list of values with a unique merge field code. Each value can be associated with a response in the questionnaire that cannot be changed by the user.
To allow users to set a personalized value, the "Other" option can be included in the list of values along with the others.

Filling out the document MCQ, proposal writers can select a response from the provided list for use in the offer. They can also choose the option 'Other' and customize the value in the subsequent field.
The instructions for completing the answer field are important to ensure that the value created is correctly integrated into the document.
The value corresponding to the selected answer will be merged into the page layout or main text.

Note: The update of customizable type values is done at the level of merge field management. For fields associated with the QCM, we recommend doing it directly via the QCM of a master by clicking on the pencil to the right of the value. Once a value has been updated, it is updated in all the masters that use it. It is unnecessary to publish the masters.
Remember that any change on the merge fields features or master configuration, do not apply on an existing document, except if the users goes back to the questionnaires and saves it (even if he has done no changes in the MCQ).
Note: It is not possible to permanently delete the values of customizable merge fields. You can only edit them (you can replace the existing value with another value).
