How to make a merge field mandatory?

You can make a merge field required; this mean that users will have to fill in the field in order to continue. Required fields in a form or questionnaire are identified by a red asterisk.

In the folder form

1. Click on the “Merge fields” icon on the left-hand panel of your home page
2. Open the category concerned, then open the field you would like to make required, tick the box 'Yes' under MANDATORY
3. Click on 'Save' to confirm.

In the questionnaire

1. Open your master.
2. On the left menu, click
3. Click the response covered by a merge field, open the 'Merge fields' menu.
4. Select the merge field you would like to make required, open its features and tick the box 'Yes'
5. Click on 'Confirm'.
