Introduction to content escalation
Web content can be capitalized in the knowledge base (KB): page (coming soon), sub-page (coming soon) and section.
The aim is to capitalize content:
- to reuse it in another microsite.
- to offer it to your administrator so that you can share it with other users or update it.
Uploading a mini-site section to the knowledge base
- Click on 'Actions' to the right of the title of the section you wish to capitalize on as a knowledge base.
- Click on 'Save to knowledge base'.
- Complete the fields in the publication window.
- Select the group that will have access to this section (Your personal space by default, and if you have 'Knowledge base manager' rights, you can choose another group).
- You can:
- Publish and return to the document.
- Publish and view the knowledge base'.
- Back in the word processor of your microsite, a green tick will appear to the right of your part to confirm that it is in the KB.
NB: Content registered in KB is intended to be reused in Web masters or microsites. They should therefore be updated in KB only, so that the update can be deployed in the masters and mini-sites that use them.
