Introduction to components
A component is a set of content inserted into a section of a XaitWebProposal microsite.
There are 2 types of components:
- The simple component: this is a mono-content that can be used on its own or assembled in a container with other components.
- The container: which groups together several simple components.
NB: Some simple components cannot be used on their own: the text component, the key data component, and the map component.
Introduction to containers
A container is a group of elements contained in the same set. As its name suggests, it acts as a container for simple components.
Here, 3 simple components are grouped together in the Card Grid container. These components are all optional, so you can decide to add just a title and a media element.
- The Text component for inserting a title.
- The Media component for inserting an image or video.
- The Rich Content component for inserting a text or image.
Inserting a component in a section:
- Click on 'Add content'.
- Select the component you want to insert in the section.
- A section can contain one or more components.
